An opportunity has arisen in our welcoming, inclusive, family school. We are looking for a permanent Cook Supervisor to replace our existing member of staff who is retiring in the Summer.
The job is part-time for 27.5 hours per week during term time only (43 weeks per year rising to 44 after five year’s service). The 27.5 hours is equivalent to 5 1/2 hours a day , five days a week, 8.30am to 2pm.

The job is paid on West Sussex Grade 5 - Points 7 to 8 (£20,092 to £20,493 pro rata) dependent on experience.

The school is one of only a few in West Sussex providing daily meals prepared and cooked on site. We do so by means of a successful, well established scheme which is proudly supported by the governors. The maintenance of our own kitchen, serving nutritious freshly cooked hot meals greatly contributes to the positive character of the school and is much valued by children, staff and families.

Pre school supervisor

The  committee at West Hoathly Pre School are working closely with the school, building stronger relationships and ensuring a seamless transition from pre school to primary school. We have surveyed parents and there appears to be a strong demand for longer days at the pre school.
