Design and Technology Intent
At West Hoathly School, our children have opportunities to solve real and relevant problems in order to become innovative and resourceful learners. We want them to become confident in using and applying a range of tools, techniques and resources and to critically evaluate their learning journey as well as their final product. All of our learners have the opportunity to engage in purposeful projects as individuals and as part of a team. children are encouraged to be inquisitive about design technology from the past, present and future, appreciating and aspiring to learn and apply the work of a wide range of different designers from different backgrounds.
